Alcohol: Clinical and Experimental Research – Parenting by individuals with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders and neurobehavioral outcomes in their offspring
Parents with FASD display notable strengths including a predominantly authoritative parenting style. However, parents with FASD underrecognize child trauma and underutilize developmental services compared to socioeconomically matched controls, despite similar neurocognitive impairments.

Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs – Hesperidin Protects Alcohol-induced Mitochondrial Abnormalities via the Inhibition of Oxidative Stress and MPT Pore opening in Newborn Male Rats as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Model
This study demonstrates that hesperidin exerts a potent mitochondria protective effect against alcohol-induced mitochondrial toxicity in FAS model. Moreover, these findings indicates that hesperidin might be a useful compound for prevention of alcohol-induced fetal developmental abnormalities during pregnancy.

Progress in Orthodontics – Dentofacial characteristics of children and adolescents with foetal alcohol spectrum disorders: a comparison with matched controls
Dentofacial characteristics of children and adolescents with FASD significantly differ from controls. Early orthodontic diagnosis and prophylaxis should play a part of the interdisciplinary care of patients in this group.

Children – Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Inadequacy of Care: Importance of Raising Awareness in Clinical Practice
FASD diagnosis and management have not been sufficiently established and tailored. Stigma, cultural contexts, knowledge gaps, and the heterogeneity of clinical manifestations are significant barriers to an accurate diagnostic process.
